I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge (Ps. 71:8). As a family, you have probably felt this way at times. But though a wonder unto many, how wonderful that the Psalmist had made the Lord His strong refuge. The times we feel alone are the times to recognize that the Lord is all we need. Praise the Lord though that, as the Prophet Elijah came to realize, God has and continues to preserve a remnant.

A goal of the Family Encouragement Weekends is to bring imperfect families together who recognize their need for Christ and are seeking to glorify Him in all they do. Christ is sufficient and as families embrace this truth, the results will be powerful as the foundations of many generations are raised up and the world around us impacted for Christ.

The Lord is bringing together another blessed season of Family Encouragement Weekends. We would love to have your family attend.

The presence of the Lord was truly evident during the first FEW Conference of 2011. Last month, the Lord brought together a precious group of families in the quaint town of Marble, NC for a weekend full of inspiration and exhortation. Below are a few reports for your encouragement. The 2010 North Carolina Family Encouragement Weekend was truly a marvelous work of our Heavenly Father. Families were encouraged, challenged, and exhorted to abide faithful where God has so wondrously planted them. Exhortations were heard on family harmony, the need for Godly fathers, and the powerful role of influence for submitted young people.
